Is there a reason why no one makes an electric air chisel?

I don't know. I had the same question about 1/4" or 3/8" corded ratchets. No one makes them. Got beat up on these pages for even asking the question. Everyone loves batteries. I finally went with the herd.

Torque wrench recommendations for 0 - 6 Nm?

I would only recommend the 'old style' beam torque wrenches. Sturdy and easy to calibrate. Unlike the 'clicky' ones.

What would be a good corded to buy

I have a 25 year old milwaukee 1/2" corded drill. It will outlast me for sure. If they still make them like they used to, I can't say.

Harbor Freight Manual Tire Changer mounting?

I mounted in concrete with anchors. Never had an issue. In my experience, if brute force is necessary I'm doing something wrong.

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

I don't own much cordless tools, just an old DeWalt 12v drill that is on it's third set of batts. And I have air ratchets and impacts. Was gonna break down and buy a no name 1/4" hex chicom impact, maybe a ratchet. Pulled the trigger on this instead; M12 FUEL 12-Volt Lithium-Ion Brushless...

Modifications to the HF 4 and 5 drawer service carts - what changes have you made?

Oh. Nevermind. Toolmutt beat me in post 3806. I did that on two 4 drawer carts yesterday. I expect the same basic mechanism when I drill out the rivets on my older 5 drawer cart. I don't want to open the lid to open drawers. If I don't throw the parts away this is reversible.

Cure for plastic handle white fungus?

I cleaned mine. Easy. Sprayed with Penetrating Oil. Scrubbed a bit with a scuff pad, and wiped down with paper towel. All better now. And the worst two looked like they'd been oversprayed with white latex paint.

Need advice on best way to insulate ceiling in renovated garage

You could hang fiberglass batts in the rafters. Someone makes a stapler that incorporates a spool of string for hanging this way. I've seen the work done, just haven't been able to find the stapler. I need one. I wish I could find one.

Does anyone make a 3/8" or 1/4" CORDED impact gun?

Then you shouldn't buy one. How does this answer my question, exactly? Electric tools kick ***, can sit in a drawer for 30 years and STILL WORK just as the day they were new! Try that with your fancy *** cordless tool in a few years when the batteries are obsolete. (see also 12v, 18v, 24v...

Does anyone make a 3/8" or 1/4" CORDED impact gun?

The very first f%(1nG one! WTF? I'll buy a Bosch FREAK at some point. And then in a few years that battery pack will be obsolete and I'll be forced to buy ANOTHER tool while my corded tools just keep on working!

Does anyone make a 3/8" or 1/4" CORDED impact gun?

Putting a reducer on my 1/2" impact gun will make it smaller, how exactly? And yes, I have plenty of air tools and air compressors and electric tools.

Yes there are. And not ONE electric?

Cure for plastic handle white fungus?

This. I just discovered my first purchased toolbox, a black crinkle paint Craftsman 2 drawer box (with genuine simulated woodgrain top!) under my work bench in my garage. Tools been in there for probably 20 years. Some are thick white moldy looking, some are fine. It's not damp in my...

Does anyone make a 3/8" or 1/4" CORDED impact gun?

I'd like the small size, but don't need cordless necessarily. I use them so infrequently the batteries fail and are expensive to replace. I'd just as soon have a corded tool. But I don't see anything smaller than 1/2" drive in corded impact guns...

let's see your craftsman block grinders

I also have a second block grinder I picked up at a swapmeet. 397.19340. It was missing one of the end plate guards, the tool rests, eye shields and quench tray. But I didn't care cause I use it for a wire wheel and a polishing wheel. It was ugly when I got it, so a little hammerite paint...

let's see your craftsman block grinders

I want to play. My Dad bought this grinder many years ago, probably the 70s. It is unrestored. 397.19440. For those interested; I just replaced the capacitor and used the BMI 216-259 uF x 125 VAC # 092A216B125AC1A. It works fine, is the same diameter to fit the clamp but is shorter than...

    Help identifying jack stands

Yes. You are the only one. And I would not be concerned in the least. BTW. The HF jackstands were defective in manufacture. Looks had nothing to do with it.

Modifications to the HF 4 and 5 drawer service carts - what changes have you made?

Model ID? Missing parts... I just picked up a 5 drawer red cart, traded for a 12 pack of MGD! The feller was gonna use this to make his cart a 10 drawer, and gave up. Well, it's missing some parts. (edit because I found the supports were relocated) The handle, the struts and the bottom...
