Thank you for these suggestions, I have done most of these but worth trying again. And do I need to be near the unit to make this change? Because with the unit off, I assume the remote has to be reprogrammed on it's own being the master control. And once the remote is reprogrammed to...- piccirilli

I have a Gree GWH12AB-D3DA2D mini split installed in a rental unit. Remote model #YT1F Original factory remote. It used to display Fahrenheit but somehow got switched to Celsius. The operating instructions state by pushing MODE + temp down while unit off should toggle the display, but it does...- piccirilli
