Ugh, too much water. The little bit of water pooled around the edge of the pad has worsened as a result of the rain yesterday. The water just doesn't have anywhere to go, so now i'm planning how i'm going to get rid of it. The only problem is this low spot at the back corner of the pad...

The foot print is above grade and is fine. On a few of the most rainy days recently there has been water pooled around the edge, but anywhere concrete will go is dry.

Our grass is green all winter every year. It gets brown in the summer. Sure, our winter has been mild. Sure its been 60 degrees or better most days since February. We're going to pay for it in drought this summer. There has been almost no snow in the mountains this year.

That is very cool. Good to know there is an alternative if you end up with an uninsulated door. Just got permits in the other day for my permabilt. I'm nervous and excited at the same time. Your build has been a great motivator for me.

Also interested in those Zip strips. My sales rep mentioned them to me when talking about the concrete. I'm a little skeptical about the lack of rebar. When I asked my permabilt rep about rebar he said it really isn't necessary with the fiber and zip strips. I just dont know enough about it...
