Howdy all, I'm just a hobbyist who likes to use a variety of materials for small projects and lately I've had the need to cut sheet and plate metal. Unfortunately, my budget is limited to under $200, so the only options I have are Rockwell's Bladerunner or the Portable Bandsaw from Harbor...

So I found some plans from 1959 to make a wooden tackle box, but it suggests 16 gauge steel for the tiny cantilevers that move the trays up and down. I would rather use 1/16" aluminum, since it would be easier to machine with the modest hobbyist tools I own (i.e. drill press, disc sander, etc.)...

I just started breaking in the HF 21 gal. compressor I bought the other day and the color of the oil looks pretty dirtiy to me. Should I be concerned about this or is it normal with these compressors? I've never had an oil compressor, so I don't know. What I've done so far is: - Filled the oil...
