Hello all, Edit to rewrite more succintly: I want to convert the unfinished room at the bottom left into a nice garage. I'll either maintain most of the current framing and keep it an oversized 1-car, or expand it out into the hill, at least across the existing stairs if not to full 2-car...

So living in California now I rent and owning a place of my own is many years away, or never. Now in a new place I want to start putting together a garage organization system that is worthy of the vehicles I'm fortunate to have to put in it, and the many projects I aspire to bring to fruition...
