    Small Diameter Tubing Bender Recommendation

What's available that has multi-die capability? Looking to bend 1/8, 1/4", 3/8" and maybe one or two 1/2" stainless tubes. I'd prefer to pick up something like a rigid/swagelok style tubing bender that has replaceable dies but at ~$200-300 each I don't want to spend $1k to bend ~15 tubes.

    Does something like this exist?

Does something like this exist? I was thinking more along the lines of air hose quick-connect fittings but you get the idea. I'm looking to add two ports to a medical oxygen gas bottle from only one hole. One "siphon" at the bottom of the tank, and a port at the top. A 1lb propane bottle would...

How do I secure a bearing for a concave turning tool holder?

How can I make this design work? I have absolutely no idea how to use a tapered bearing. So I have nearly completed my CAD model of a small model engine I want to build, and my question is in regards to creation of the holes in the crank cake, sleeve, and the head. I would use a boring bar for that, correct? If so does anyone have recommendations as to where to buy said boring bar...

When I first started my interest in the mechanical world involute gears were always something of interest to me. I just thought I would share this little CAD model I made this evening for those that have any interest, and maybe get some feedback from the more experienced crowd. I'm happy to...

[Old DevilBiss Air Compressor] How do I remove the shaft here?

http://imgur.com/a/IzdYv So I'm trying to remove the shaft, and the piston so I can paint the casing, and clean it out as it has stopped working reliably but I am at a complete loss as to how to do it. The slightly newer models have removable rod caps, but this unit is solidly connected here...

Lathe Vibration Issues. Need some help!

Greetings, So I've been working on restoring our small little garage shop here since it has now been handed down to me, it has been sitting for the past 20 years mostly untouched. I would really like to get everything working reasonably well. The problem is that the lathe shakes so much that...
