I may have the opportunity to purchase a Lincoln 225 arc welder from my cousin. He hasn't mentioned a price yet, but I don't want to low-ball him. I want the price to be fair to both of us, maybe weighted a little in his favor. What are these things selling for in your area?

I have a couple old logging chains that are too good to sell for scrap, but covered with flaking rust. What would you guys recommend I do about the rust? Vinegar bath? Evaporust? Looking forward to your ideas. Thanks!
