Hello everyone. I have no idea about residential wiring. I installed a new GDO (there wasnt one previously) and i have to keep the garage lights on to keep power to the GDO. Is there a way to wire it or the outlet its plugged to, to keep it powered up without turning the lights on?

Just got this off the truck on thursday, it is probably the last worklight i will ever buy/need. Single bar LED, light as a feather, rechargeable, high and low setting. Battery life is 4 hours on high and 8 on low. It is so damn bright i will probably only ever use the low setting. Untitled by...
