I was fortunate enough to go on a private tour of an old converted chicken barn to collector car garage. The first building housed around 20 or so collector cars and an old nostalgic 50s car dealership showroom. Next building was an old Willies garage......very cool. Sorry about the poor quality...

Im getting ready to sheetrock my attic or loft above the garage. My question is, do you have to have nailers or blocking where the roof line meet the top of the pony wall? The trusses are on 2ft centers.

I was up in the loft cleaning today and noticed mould and ice forming on the inside of the open ceiling. The nail heads have ice on them as well. This isnt good. The roof is on the north side so it doesnt get much sun. The other side (south facing)appears to be ok for now. Anybody know...

General question about excavating for the foundation and slab. Should I remove all the top soil down to hard pan (2ft down) for the floor slab and back fill with gravel. I dont want the floor to move or crack. Thanks in advance!
