Hello, I recently picked up an old Craftsman Commercial horizontal bandsaw. The tag says model number 101 22923 and the serial number is 2148. I measured, and it seems like around 66”, but I want to be sure. Also don’t know what the height is (1/4”, 3/8”, etc). Everything seems to work great...

I just got my hands on a blade guard for my old model 77, but I don't know how to install it? I cannot remove the threaded part that the guard connects to. I tried threading the guard onto the threaded shaft, but I can only get a half a turn. Please, any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
