    Torque wrench accuracy.

I have been told and was under the impression that a torque wrench is not very accurate between 20% of its upper and lower limits. Looking at the calibration information though makes that seem incorrect. If you look below it shows clearly that the torque wrench is very accurate all the way to...

What the heck were they thinking???

So I work at Valvoline Express Auto Care. We do just about everything here but of course 90% of our work is oil changes. Lately we have had a few of the techs tightening bolts far too tight. We have even had to replace an oil pan because the drain plug hole was completely destroyed. So anyways...

Snap-On cordless line vs Milwaukee 18 Fuel

So I'm going to start buying some power tools. The first two on my list are the 1/4 in ratchet and 1/2 impact. Which ones would you recommend for pro use? Without taking cost into consideration because I'm in the Snapon SEP so they are priced basically the same. Which line is best? Sent from my...

If you had to start over and purchase every single tool again, where would you start

If you had to start all over and purchase every single tool again, where would you start? I ask because I am starting school in 2 weeks, and I want to get as much as possible bought while I am in school. A couple of things to keep in mind. My school does not require one of those big kits to...

    Snap on from Craigslist.

Just picked this set up off craigslist. Paid $130 plus a little trade. How did I do? Also if you see the 15mm has a broken selector, that shouldn't be a problem to get snap on to replace it right? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

First nice tool purchase is a disappointment - SK wrenches

Just purchased SK wrenches, had problems, Amazon fixed it. TLDR: Bought SK wrench set from Amazon, wrenches had rust in the open ended portion, contacted Amazon, they refunded me in full, and told me to keep or donate them. The rest of the thread is people bashing one tool brand over another...
