Dual marked Plomb Proto 810 10" pipe wrench -- 7 Blue Point nut drivers --

This wrench will clean up nicely. Since that means different things to different people, I will leave that fun for the buyer. I don't see any evidence of pliers or hammers being used on this tool. No owner's marks. $65, shipping included within U.S.A. The drivers in this set are...

    L.L. Davis Patent - M.W. Robinson Co. - No. 9 - 24" level

This old level was too cool to leave behind for ten bux. Apparently, a previous owner used it for tile work, since it had a few globs of grout and thinset stuck to it. This is an as-found photo. I removed most of the grout and gave it a wash with light soap and a toothbrush. It's still a...

    265C contact cleaner?

I pulled this little tool out of the bottom of the scrap metal bin and am wondering what it is used for. There are no maker's marks, just 265C stamped in the side, plus QEL 6 scratched on the cap. At first, I thought it was a feeler gauge holder, but I believe the thin strips are diamond...

    No-name hydraulic bumper jack identification?

Does anyone recognize this jack? It doesn't have any markings of any kind. There appears to be a small amount of red paint left on it, which may be a clue, assuming it is original. Tom

Help identifying unmarked 1/4" socket set(s)

I bought the first one about a year ago and found a more complete set yesterday. I have tried some searching/Googling to determine the maker, but to no avail. The faceted box lid might be a clue, as well as the half plated sockets. The yellow handle also has a 1/4" drive socket in the end.

Soldering Gun - McKinley Mockenhaupt Co. Chicago Ill

I picked up this soldering gun yesterday. I sort of have a soft spot for old soldering irons. This is the first pistol style one I have found. A little research suggests it is from 1944, according to a listing on Worthpoint. (I am not a 'member', so I don't know what their assessed value...

Van Dorn Heavy Duty 7" Flexible Disc Sander

I picked this up today for $12. It weighs in at fifteen pounds, so that was a little less than a buck-a-pound. It may have weighed sixteen pounds, prior to cleaning. Tom

    DASCO DOE marked 3-25

I picked up this wrench last week and have not been able to find any information about it online. The tapered tips are what caught my attention. Alloy Artifacts does not mention DASCO... Does anyone have an idea as to why the tips are tapered this way? The markings on the ends are a bit odd...

    Ancient Fencing Tool

I had never heard of F.Faust. The little bit of searching I have done has not been productive. I think these are sort of cool, so I thought I would share. I'll bet they work well for pulling/pounding staples.

What were these snips used for?

I have been wondering what these two pairs of snips were for and am hoping maybe someone here knows. The first pair were made by Wiss and have a patent date of Nov. 20, '06 (by J. G. Kyle) The other pair have quite a bit of corrosion where the maker's name was stamped, but I can sort of...

    BIG Indestro 39-A DOE

I picked up this Indestro 39-A wrench today. It is now the biggest wrench I own! The openings are 1 1/2" and 1 5/16" and the overall length is around 12". I snapped a few photos next to one of the smallest DOEs I have.
