not using hot water heater for extended periods?

I'm getting close to finishing my house and will be moving out of my shop apartment, I have a 50 gal electric water heater there and while I'll still use the shop and water a lot I don't see myself using the hot water very often. Will it hurt anything to just leave the hot water heater off and...

Finding CG on a vehicle for putting on a lift.

Is there a book, or online resource for finding the CG of a particular vehicle? I seem to remember getting a book with my lift when new (my brothers at the time) that had most vehicles and where their CG was located. Anybody know of anything like this? Thanks.

    Roll around battery charger

Can you guys recommend a good roll around battery charger? I don't need anything fancy, 2a 10a 40a and 100a engine start is what I'm pretty sure my old one had. Bonus if it can also do 6v and 8v batteries for golf carts but it's not a requirement. Seems like schumacker makes a few, are they a...

Hello everyone, been lurking around on here checking out everyone's awesome shops and figured I'd share mine! Its a 40x60 with a 20x40 apartment. My brother built it originally but got married and his wife didn't want to live in a "barn", so I rented out my house and moved in and have been...
