    This reminds me of some core box planes I have had. It measures 17" long and weighs about 12 pounds. No makers mark.

    What is it? Wood slitting plane?

    Interesting tool I have not see before. There are 2 narrow blades that can be adjusted seperatly. The handled portion can taken off and reversed to pull it in the other direction. Maybe for making the tongue for a tongue and groove joint? It is unmarked.
