    LN47ACF (With Follow Up)

    Brand new pliers, aquired through the Snap-on website. Gonna go out on a limb and say this isn't the way it's supposed to be? On the widest setting, the tips seem to align. Is this normal for these pliers? Sorry if this seems like a stupid question.

    Why is the anvil profiled like this? Seems it would be less strong this way. Brand new (2022) FCF72.

    Drive Tang hole?

    Anyone have knowledge as to what this hole is for? Oiling? It is opposite of the detent ball. The ratchet is NOS 1992 F830
