I hope someone can help. I have a detached garage. I am trying to get the hot water to the garage for the washer. All pipes and plumbing is hooked up. But all I have is cold water. People have told me I just need to turn the hot water on but can’t tell me where. Can any one help

I was wondering if anyone can help. My garage is detached from my house. The water is hooked up to the garage. But I can’t figure out how to get the hot water to the garage . The pipes are all hooked up but for my washer I only have cold water and no hot . Can anyone help please
