I am likely using 1" closed spray foam for my metal shop roof and maybe the walls. The contractor said there has to be some type of thermal barrier such as wood, sheetrock, fire retardant paint... I am looking for examples of what ya'll did and how it looks. I plan on doing the covering...

Newbie here from Lake Texoma, TEXAS side. Found this site while researching how to insulate an upcoming metal shop. Still haven't figured out how I am going to do it yet, but have found a lot of threads for ideas. Thanks to all who post!! Looking forward to posting some of the build.
