    Vintage Dowidat 3/8” ratchet in need of advice

    Hi all, My Dowidat 3/8” ratchet I purchased in the 80s has stopping working, is either locked up or stays in one direction. I’ve pulled it apart cleaned it with WD40 all to no avail I’m not sure where the spring goes or even if it’s broken although I didn’t see anything when I opened it up...

    I’m like a lot of people on this forum as in if I can repair my vintage tools I will, rather than buying new tools. I’ll make my 1st post which is if my 3/8” ratchet is repairable or not.
