    1950s Snap-on toolbox Which model?

    Steven Tools and Boxes vs Stevens Walden

    Ok I have some boxes with Stevens Boxes and Tools imprinted on them. I am assuming these predate the merger between Stevens Tools and Walden in 1926? Would it be reasonable to assume they were made between 1900 and 1926? Here’s a Stevens box….about 6”x 3” x 1.5”

    Proto 5849 1” ratchet male/female —welded socket. Is it ruined ? Or can I just rebuild?

    UPDATE: I acquired this massive 1” Proto 5849 ratchet (male /female version) that some Jack leg has welded a 3/4” drive 1-5/16” socket onto.     Snap on 3/4" 0-600 ft lb torque wrench that appears to be frozen?

    This big 3/4" torque wrench appears to be frozen. Anyone had this issue? This wrench probably dates back to the 1990s at least.

    Reed 403 1/2 R vise --my latest find. 3.5" jaws- Is it rare?

    I picked up a Reed 403 1/2 R in pretty good shape recently at an auction. It weighs out around 45 lbs. I'm planning to restore the outside finish on this one. Mechanically, it's smooth. Does anyone know the mfg. date range on these? Value? Edited to correct the model name Edit 2--added pics...
