has anyone ever considered mounting vertical PT 2x4's or 2x6's to a stud over the house wrap, then wrapping with j-channel before siding. My hope is to 1-break up a 46ft straight wall with no windows ect, and 2- give me a place for ladder racks, mount my split unit, ect. Any experience or reason...
