    Craftsman odditiy, -V- series made in JAPAN

    I just acquired two Craftsman raised panel wrenches that are marked 3/4 FORGED IN JAPAN -V- 44701.     Channellock quality slipping?

    Has anyone else seen the quality of the USA made Channellock tools getting worse? I've been a big fan of their diagonal cutters for a long time, I have one that's got to be 20 years old, it has been used and abused in more ways than I care to admit, and it's still in great condition.
