I see people selling new Snap On tools on ebay at the same price as snapon.com or slightly higher. Why would you pay retail on ebay? What am I missing?

I was just quoted 2300-2600 to do a highlift conversion on 2 doors and for two Liftmaster 3800s installed. Its only going up 2.5'. Wow, that seems high, am I missing something?
