I wonder this about security bits too. You can buy the driver bits at any auto parts store for less than $5 that will remove about any security screw on the market. I guess you have to try.

I would suggest instead a good lock. If you decide to resell in the future, you will wish you skipped the engraving. It does not prevent theft and it may just cause the thief to carry the tools offsite again negating the need for engraving. In general, I would suggest another plan. Past that...
