This color is Hawaiian Orchid. It's a GM Color from the mid 90's. I think Pontiac painted some of the Firebirds this color.

Update on status of this build. Vehicle is at upholstry and comes back in about a month for final polish. Sorry for the delay on the update. I've been kind of busy.

I got my start with a 66 Mustang project with my father-in-law at age 16. I've been fixing cars ever since then. Learning to use your hands and brain together to build something like this is a priceless skill. Especially when it's done right.

You won't have any issues with weight (unless you want to move that thing). You may have some issues with that top warping though. If that happens just remove the doug fir on top and replace it with 3/4" MDF. Very stable and strong like bull. :beer:
