This thread is relevent to me.... so how about inverters and battery chargers for an off grid solar---- combination units good ( brand? ) or should go with separate inverters and battery chargers? Im thinking about 4kw inverter size and initially about 3kw of panels and 48V of battery and 5KWH...

Buying the condensers and air handlers / furnaces locally seems to be the problem around here. The supply houses wont sell to a non hvac contractor. So getting these shipped to us is whats going to happen I guess. Probably miss out on warranty then but saving 2/3 of the cost makes up for that.

The first time you run it up to full temp the rockwool will outgas the binder or whatever is in it and put out a lot of smoke so be prepared to ventilate that out of the garage.
