PB Blaster works miracles sometimes, especially if you give it time to work. Heat can definitely help loosen a joint, however given how much force you are putting in already... tough to tell how much heat you will need and if propane will be enough. Don't know if all are left-handed, but...

I would at least make sure to chem-prime rust spots first. Even surface rust will eventually cause your pretty paint to peel.

If you say it fast enough, it doesn't seem so bad.
