It was not bad at all. It took a lot of beating for about a year, until I lost it at a construction site.
The handle was very good, it had some kind of soft texturing to provide slippage. And the shock absorbtion was decent.
The second actually sounds more truthful, with the name of the founder in it.
I think those bastards at Stanley have made them change it in the webpage ...

I really like the texture and grip of those Beta Grip Screwdrivers.
I recently bought some BetaGrip stubbies and a couple of RTX and I'm verry impressed.
Definitely NOT made in Germany. I have the same, but red and branded as USAG 207D and no COO.
Now, USAG being part of The Stanley Group ... you get the idea ;)
Finally! It was about time those bastards start using red & yellow for their VDE pliers handles!
Btw - those combination pliers are one of the most comfortable I've ever used. I got a pair, but regular, not VDE.
