Just got off the phone with the City of Raleigh. Of course.. they say I need a permit. Seems kind of silly since I am not changing anything structural to the house. All of that is staying in tact. I bet they would ask for a permit to change a faceplate on a light switch if I asked!! Ugh..

There has got to be a way to match that brick, or at least get it really close. I really don't want to have one side of the house be different from the rest. My house is 100% brick all the way around.
