Thought I would finally get this thread updated, plus it was excuse to use me new GoPro. Here how we are currently looking... As you can see I've got all the skirting boards fitted. I must admit it's not the neatest job in the world, might re-do a couple at a later date. Another big thing...

Well I've been away for a bit but, today I made a start on the skirting boards. I went for 170mm tall skirting. Nice and chunky looking. Started cutting to shape. Unfortunately I didn't think to take photos. To busy getting my head round which way I need to cut my 45s. Once...

Well this happened... Finally got chance and someone to lend a hand fitting my new garage door. Unfortunately not many progress piccys, but it's was surprisingly simple to be removed and the new one fitted. Six screws and two bolts, think I'll be beefing that up! I'll put some wood batons...

Well there is not a lot to update with but with it getting dark very early here, and not having any lights yet... Progress is slow. The floor is finished so I've moved all my gear back in. There is a few small patches that need a touch up but that can be done when I do the skirting boards...

Finally managed to get another coat on the floor this morning. It's starting to look the colour I want. :)

So far I've used 2.5L and look what has just arrived. :rocker:

To be honest I was hoping it would only need one coat. Their square meter per litre was spot on.

Not yet... Hoping to get some socket locations sorted over he next few weeks.

Wow! It was an impressive space before... But with the floor. Good Work!

Well I finally has sometime to paint my floor... Looking very bare and little dusty even after the sealer. :-/ I started with the edges, even had a colour coded mixing bucket. Whole floor just finished... Looking a bit patchy. Got distracted playing with my friends new puppy...

Amazing what a bit of paint can do. Impressive clean up... Love the MK1 as well.

It's looking really sweet in there now, I would really like some wall cabinets like that. Have to try and find some available in the UK.

MG David Love the carpet idea... Hmmm :drool: No sign of my floor paint yet.... But when my floor is painted I'm going to put some skirting board to cover the paint join where the floor meets the walls. At the moment I can decided between these three... Orange Black White Think I'm...

Cheers Guys, lmb I had thought about putting a side door in but I now think I'm going to leave it... Bit more secure. Hesketh That's not a bad idea, think after I've got all the electrics in place cables ran etc. I'll get a couple of rolls.

Yeah, normally well what I've read you can put epoxy straight down. The concrete was so dusty (really poor concrete) I was advised to seal it first... Fingers crossed it should be okay.

Bit of an update.. I've got my ceiling finished bar a tiny bit of edging above the door. I'm quite happy with the way it turn out. Next I emptied the garage and stored the contents at work. I gave to whole garage a good hoover to get rind of the dust. I got some funny looks from people...
