    why dont you get the chrome versions of the bahco ones scince these guys invented them, then snap on has scince bought out the company. plus many ppl on here say they are made in the same factory I dont know how true this is but surely it makes sense to buy the bahcos. personally I own from 4"...

    theres a nice MAC box to do up on ebay at the moment near London for less than £50 I would jump on it but with a 400 mile round trip its not worth itebay item number...

    eric what size tap were you using if I remember rightly my 3 record number 6 vices were a BSW thread something like 5/16 or 3/8 not 100% on size as my taps are at work right now.

    At work last weekend I needed a M2.5 tap to chase out some threads for grub screws and the hex key was 1.27mm . why couldn't they have just used M3 as clearance wasnt an issue I guess it was someone just thinking this would be a great idea when it turned out just to be an inconvenience.

    COO is not marked on the sockets only the facom logo and part numbers will get a pic of them tomorrow when I get into work.

    Just the hex key as the cap head was recessed in about 100mm looked at the facom stm.j9 set but thought the boss would be a little pissed as its over £150 on RS and the hex key was something like £6

    Vauxhalls use a 7mm bolt also on brake calipers. I was working onsome kneeding rollers at work and needed a 14mm hex key, ordered one from RS at 5pm got it the next day straight from Facom in France didn't even know they went that large

    metric pitch gauges are pointless really as they don't have a tpi count they just have a standard count between threads as opposed to a set number of threads over the 1' distance.     At work we use ever thread conceivable metric fine and coarse, unc, unf, bsf, bsw, ans, as well as bsb and bsb. The way I check is with good old fashioned thread pitch gauges http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thread_pitch_gauge and a Zeus referance book find this way has always worked best as...

    do you guys not have pozidriv over the other side of the pond they are much better than Phillips, ive never come across Robertson drive over here
