I checked this out a few days ago, so will this work with a generic OBDII cable? Is there a specific one? I have a Taxtric open port 2 and KKL VAG-COM 409.1 OBD2 cable. Wonder if they would work?

I saw some scanners there as well. Was curious what they were all about. Which one did you get? Is it GM only?

So what software is the best if I was to use a tablet?

Thanks for the suggestion, but have an inova 3120 which just checks codes. I don't know how the two compare, but I really am looking for more options like Snap On or OEM scanners have.

As cheap as possible, you know. If I used one every day to make money I would be looking at it differently. So if I am comparing Autoenguinity to Solus pro, what cant or can I do? If Autoenguity is cheaper why would someone buy other more expensive scanners? Has anyone used Consult 2 or 3...
