Yes. I don't have a bunch of tools but mostly Craftsman I inherited and purchased to do minor repairs and preventive maintenance for four vehicles (including 1970 Cutlass), compact tractor, and lawnmowers over the last 35 years. The savings have more than paid for my tools.

I got the corded 6amp Craftsman on sale a few years ago and use it to trim wood fence and tree/bush limbs up to 4inches thick. Just cut down 10 small hedge bushes with it last week.

Not snap-on but the HD Husky brand (Taiwan) reversible ratcheting wrenches have a smaller head and still seem strong enough. I just got a metric set for around $54 and used a few of them to change water pump on a ford car.
