In New York we use the “ from too’s” all the time. I have also used rigid couplings to m.c connectors with the appropriate r.e. A lot more expensive way to go about it however. Doing it on a school job right now, inspector is fine with it.

I ended up punching the meter can for 3” and also installed a 3” pvc ****** thru the back to the panel with ma’s. It’s tight, but it worked. I’m not really concerned with pulling 250’s 320’ in 3” pipe. I’ve done far worse pulls. as long as I can **** a string thru I think I’ll be alright.

Here’s a few pictures of the inside. Garage portion has 13’4” tall ceilings. And the second floor will be 12’ except for over the bedroom where I decided to put a small loft in. As you can see it’s a mess downstairs.

Thanks! I’m happy with how it’s turning out so far. It’s going to have a 1250 square foot apartment above it to live in while I build the house.
