Haul-Master lift cart (Harbor Freight) experience?

Did anyone bleed there cart per the instructions before use? I followed the instructions on my new cart (model 60438) and it caused me to overfill the hydraulic ram to the point where it wouldn’t go back down without any weight on it. I pushed the table down while holding the lever and the...

    Anyone recognize this engine stand?

Doesn't look like it. In the second pic, it looks like a piece of flat bar that extends down where the wheel should be.

    Anyone recognize this engine stand?

yeah, the head that's bolted on looks homemade and for a very specific use. I'd need to build something else to make it work.

    Anyone recognize this engine stand?

I noticed that as well. The wheels on the OTCs are typically recessed into the square tube. The one I posted also appears to have a brace of some sort that used to run between the two legs. If you look at the second pic, there are two empty bolt holes on each leg.

Replacement Fingers for Box and Pan Brake

Hi all, I've got a Roper Whitney box and pan brake (U-416) that is missing about half the fingers. I called Roper Whitney and its cheaper to buy an entirely new brake than it is to purchase replacement fingers. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement set of fingers for a reasonable...

Help Sizing LVL Beam for Mezzanine

Thanks for the advice. Does anyone know where I can find how much LVLs weigh per foot?

Help Sizing LVL Beam for Mezzanine

About half of the footprint will be taken up by my tops for my 72 blazer and my 69 corvette, both of which are relatively light in terms of pounds per square foot, so i think 40psf should be fine.

Help Sizing LVL Beam for Mezzanine

I'm looking to build a mezzanine in my garage that is 15' wide. The mezzanine would span 12' deep, but the LVL span tables online start at 20' spans. Does anyone know of any tables that would tell me what size LVL I should use? I'll be storing car parts and other heavy items (cherry picker...

Thanks, guys. I did a little research and it looks like these are the same type as those that were sold by a GJ member in this thread: http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=143568 The deep drawers are what caught my eye, but they don't open all the way. The come out 10" shy of...
