Do people change their own oil anymore?

Wow, there's actually quite a few people out there (stories of customers) that let their cars go miles and miles without changing the oil. I have buddy that does the same thing. I always give him a hard time with. Whenever something goes wrong with his car that has nothing to do with the...

Do people change their own oil anymore?

Since I bought my house 6 mo. ago, I started changing my own oil, too. Now, that I have all the room and have a reason to use some tools. I have a 2006 350Z and there isn't really any other regular maintenance to do on it so I'm happy I can at least change the oil. :)

    Tweaking Air Compressor Max PSI

It seems the consensus is "don't do it!". Don't tweak the factory settings. I have a Husky gun rated at 600 FWD/735 REV ft lbs. But, my compressor is only 10 gal at 125 psi. So, I guess my course of action when/if I come across those tough nuts: 1st) patience+heat+oil; 2nd) bigger and...

    Tweaking Air Compressor Max PSI

I was just wondering just in case I needed to. It would be on a temporary and worst case scenario basis. My air compressor is used seldom. Basically, just to air my tires and remove my wheels to check/replace the brakes. Sometime in the future, I may do some suspension mods and I hear some...

    Tweaking Air Compressor Max PSI

Is there a way to tweak an air compressor's max PSI to a higher number? I'd almost think maybe there's an adjustment that allows the motor to run a little longer each fill up.

Need Low Profile Floor Jack Recommendation

My local Harbor Freight had these US General Aluminum Racing Floor Jacks on sale for $149 (reg. $199). My first higher grade jack (as apposed to the $20-$40 ones) and looks very nice. Feels solid and very well constructed. The thing that kinda sorta annoyed me is their website did not indicate...

Impact Wrench 90 PSI Max Meaning

I get a lot of pressure drop on my air compresser regulator when the gun in under load. It's just a little 10 gallon 2.5 hp. As eschoendorff describes also, mine drops from 90 to 70-75 when under load. So I set the regulator to 115-120 to get the 90. Sounds like I'm safe with my assumption...

Impact Wrench 90 PSI Max Meaning

When an air tool like an impact wrench says it's 90 PSI Max, does that mean under load? Or at the air compressor regulator? Thanks.
