The 299 piece socket set is a lot of sockets I have been piecing one together for at least 5 years. If you don't want 12 point sockets I don't think the 299 is for you as more than 1/2 of the sockets in the set are 12 point. Look at the attached PDF's for a visual aid.

The plumbing section at the Big Box hardware stores sells a 5/16" nut driver for band/hose clamps. If I remember correctly some of them have a feature to prevent over tightening the clamps and ruining them.

I have a different version by Ryobi, the best feature is it can be set to a specific psi and shuts off at when it reaches that psi.
