Vintage bottle jack brands / manufacturers?

Hey everyone, I recently came into possession of a completely rusted out and seized up bottle jack, that I assume is fairly old (but not ancient) based on it's design. It has "Made in USA" and "NH-51" stamped on the bottom, and "NH-53" stamped on the pump lever housing. Any idea what brand...

    Skateboard storage

If you wanted to go cool, you could restore up some older skateboard decks and make a peg-board type hanging system out of the decks. A lot of pro skateboarders do that. Or you could do something like this: http://www.getaddictedto.com/skatetruck-wall-hook/#sthash.5b7fVtK5.dpbs That's a...

The guy wants his stuff clean, what's it to you dirty bums? Nothing wrong with a little pride. I don't have an answer for you, just wanted to yell at the nay sayers who haven't seen shiny chrome on anything they own in a decade.

Company is supplying us the tools from now on | No more tool allowance

What line of work are you in? I don't understand what level of tool allowance they were paying you that would justify this insane expenditure, especially Snap On tools. Proto / Blackhawk for example has massive discounts for bulk corporate purchases (through MSC etc). That makes sense. Snap On...

Is HF the only one that makes this??? A 3" electric cut off tool?

http://www.toolbarn.com/bosch-dg250lce.html Die grinder with variable speed. That's what you wanted. 5.8 amp. Set the RPM at what you want and be done with it. Just rig up a shield and you are set. You are being very confrontational for no reason. You asked a vague question and gave little...

are Craftsman Pro screwdrivers anywhere near Snap-on quality??

You aren't going to get that answer. No one knows the technical data and there are almost no material scientists / engineers on this forum. Everyone posting about one is better than the other are just going on anecdotal evidence, that is to say, worthless evidence. When you spend $120+ for a...

How's this for a GJ bargain?

He knows that people on this forum are notorious cheap skates and Snap On fanboys, so honestly it was a smart move. Or, would have been if he didn't get caught.

Kobalt 1/4 drive flex head ratchet $20

Can't justify a 1/4 ratchet that long that is still 36 tooth. It's not like you need a smaller tooth count for strength, you'll snap any fasteners way before that. If it had 72+ teeth then it would be a real potential purchase in my opinion.

How does Snap On warranty a no longer made ratchet?

They'll warranty it if they are nice guys or if you have business with them. If you just stroll onto the truck they'll generally tell you to gtfo.

But then they would lose money that they gain from blatantly under cutting their very own employees. Can't have that.

Is this Snap on a good deal for $5000?

That should be a real eye opener for most people. Why can they make those awesome deals and discounts? Because the profit margin is ridiculous.
