So Matco is backordered on all ratchets

I googled to see if my Matco man was the only one having this issue and I now see he is not. It is so bad that when my snap on man came Monday he was asking if the Matco man was telling us to buy ratchets from him(the snap on man) which he did tell one guy that. I had ordered a 1/4" locking...

I have the 1/4" and the 3/8" impacts like that and the 3/8" is no chump. I use them 2 for everything mostly under the hood stuff at that(Ford tech.) Sent from my XT1095 using Tapatalk

I have that same box...I love it except for the fact that it shows every finger print that touches it. But mine came with the sound bar and a stainless top. Sent from my XT1095 using Tapatalk

Not a bad deal at all. I am the same way all my snap-on stuff is metric since I really don't use standard much. So the standard stuff I have is either craftsman or harbor freight. Sent from my XT1095 using Tapatalk

Layout wise those boxes look so much like the harbor freight 44" only a different color of course. Which isn't a bad thing at all. Sent from my XT1095 using Tapatalk

Are counterfeit Snap-On tools a thing?

Harbor freight try real close to make their tools look like Snap-on stuff like their new line of ratchets look a lot like a comfort grip Snap-on from a distance. Sent from my XT1095 using Tapatalk

Tool sizes on a recent Ford/Lincoln

well since it is a 2 wheel drive it probably has the 2 piece drive shaft and they can develop an issue were you have to take the back half of it off and fill it with grease because it feels like you got rear ended when you stop. It is a service bulletin for the f150s but we have seen it in the...

8mm, 7mm, 10mm, 13mm and 15mm will damn near take apart the whole truck, 16mm for the drain plug, a 2014 wont have the 2 piece spark plugs so you wont need that kit.

what happens to broke hand tools?

for me it is my hose clamp pliers, my brake caliper press, my 19/21mm flip socket, my 1/2"female to 3/8" male adapter and some of my torx sockets and my 5mm socket (ford decided that it was the perfect size for exhaust studs and it breaks all the time).

what happens to broke hand tools?

what happens to broke hand tools?

I break truck brand tools all the time and get them traded out so I know that it bull squat. That is the beauty of the tool trucks. I buy tools from them and then when they break they fix it or replace it without me having to run change clothes and run to sears (they wont warranty squat for me...

I was just curious what happens to broke hand tools after they are returned to the trucks/stores for warranty? Are they melted down and turned back into new tools or what?
