    First Cordless Drill

In this case, the drill was like bringing a bazooka to subdue a chihuahua. I know someone who lives in Western Australia. Good people, he says. They like to drink. Life is less of a rat race there. Side Issue: How does HF make money out of selling a drill for $15? How does the...

    First Cordless Drill

This action seemed prudent while assembling the furniture. IMO, this multipurpose organizer would make a fine gift to your better half or children. Its not high quality but very functional.

    First Cordless Drill

Its HF 67024. 0-900 rpm, 24 torque settings (the round dial). What I did is, set the torque at 5 (should have set it to 1), and pushed the button to lower speed. I did drive 3 screws with the drill, then got preemptively cautious. The screws were small and delicate.

    First Cordless Drill

I used the HF 15 to assemble furniture. It had too much torque and speed, I was afraid that I would strip the special screw heads. So quit using the drill. I ended up using a screw driver. Took more time but the job was done satisfactorily.

    First Cordless Drill

I checked out a few Craftsman cordless drills. Like my Harbor Freight 18v, they were heavy. Does less voltage mean less weight and size (smaller battery?)? Some were louder than the others. Even if I don't use it much, I would like to buy a nice one that will work for me. Money is...

    First Cordless Drill

Came close to buying a 20v cordless drill by DeWalt with two batteries and charger for $99. However, decided to Visit local Harbor Freight store. Bought a 3/8" 18V cordless 0 to 900 rpm drill with battery and charger and basic bits for $20.50. The store manager helped me out. They had a...

    First Cordless Drill

I am looking for recommendations for one cordless and one corded drill for home use. I am planning to use it to assemble furniture, drive screws on drywall and other hard surfaces. A tool that is easy to use is preferable. I like simplicity and efficiency.
