    36x38 Shop Build in SouthEast

New toy in the shop, could not stand to have the empty spot while the bronco is in paint: A better pic of the car from when I picked it up yesterday:

Thanks. Manifold holding fine. No issues. I did upgrade to better filters, those husky brands just didn't seal around the o rings. Finished all the metal work and lizard skin on the bronco and sent it off to paint today!

    Wetlands on property?

I had what are termed "delineated wetlands" on my property, and there was no mitigation for it. I could not put one footer in that boundary or game over. I had to adjust my house and shop plan to accommodate. http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=239161

    36x38 Shop Build in SouthEast

Thanks. That's a good looking 68. I have a long way to go to get there, but it will be nice when done. Then the dilemma, to keep it or sell it. I will have to sell either it or the TA to make some room for the next one. I should have built another stall on this shop.

    36x38 Shop Build in SouthEast

Hello again...have not been on here in awhile, as I have been too busy enjoying my shop. Finished the Thunderbird and got it gone, and now I am in the middle of a 1973 Bronco build. I finally broke down and bought a real compressor and spent yesterday building out the manifold and setting...

    Garages at Night Thread

I haven't even moved into it yet, not a single wrench. It's still under construction. Had to throw that Thunderturd in there because I am out of room in my garage (anyone want to buy it??). Don't worry, it will get nice and greasy when the muscle cars move in.

So a lighting update. Swapped all the 2700 CF bulbs out to regular bulbs. I could not stand how long it took the CF's to warm up. Eventually I am sure I will go to LED bulbs with a 5000k spectrum, but that is $50 a bulb and there are 24 of them, so it can wait. The shop is very well lit, and...

Poured concrete on Tuesday. Also, not shop related, but to me its fun stuff, started on the deck. This deck will include a fire pit, and summer kitchen. The slab on the corner there is where the fire pit will be built.

TBird took the flight today, I could not resist. Also, as you can see in this pic, I got my rack on the wall for my slicks and extra tires, and the 10 foot ladder I need to access my loft. The red stripe was finished last week. I THINK I like it...it will stay for awhile at least.

    36x38 Shop Build in SouthEast

Finished up the lift, electrician wired it. Ready for a test run as soon as we get permanent service to the house. The pump was supposed to be mounted on a bracket on the side by my office window, but I thought mounting it on the wall was a better option to keep it out of site from my office...

Yup. Want it? Pulled it out of a barn, been off the road for 17 yrs. I got it running but still have to do brakes. Master cylinder and power booster in back of my truck in need of rebuild. Planned on fixing the brake systems then I need it gone. Not my kind of car and I need the room.

Rain has it a mess our here, but the doors on, yet to be painted. Jackshaft openers are tiny. (Gaudy orange sticker the installer put on to be removed!) Beer fridge arrived, just sitting there for now, not even pushed back but this thing is fancy! Did not expect a clear front, seems more...
