Don't forget to grind bevels in the metal. The youtube video crusher did not have them in any of the welds. Alot of pressure, you'll want the best welds to penetrate.

There's a formula for the psi and tonnage, psi is known for the pump, but how is it going to attach and what shape of cylinder will be easiest to build a...

I scored a JD Squared model 4 hydraulic bender with pump motor and 2 inch 180* die set. It looks like the cylinder needs new seals, but the rest appears good, the pump motor works. A local guy quoted me $80 to rebuild. The ad asked $800 for the package. When the company owner found out a worker...

Planning a trip to texas and needed more space inside. I modified a cargo rack (waay stronger and deeper) and bought a cargo box to fit it. The swing away bike rack is aluminum. It works great! I have access to the box AND I can open the hatch to get in back too!!!

I am making a big trip and needed more luggage room and somewhere for the kids bikes.............best of both worlds I guess. Still have access to box and opening hatch.

5M led strip light. I used them under the shelves that hang over my bench. $10-20 depending. Used them over my parts washer too.

What type of wheel are you using for tungsten grinding?

I keep meaning to weld a middle hinge on it, it bows a little with heavy stuff, i.e. semi truck brake drum. It holds up real well. I have two legs i stick under it for heavy stuff. Otherwise it's just a single pivot hinge strut that locks out underneath it.

I used a sheet of 1/8 inch steel diamond plate, cut it in half, welded removable hinges to the halves. I bolted one half to my bench, with fiberglass sheet between for insulation. I put the diamond plate side down. The front half swings out like a desk top to weld on while I sit.
