Full Flake Single Part Polyurea Install Monster Post

Here’s a long-winded novella about my floor decision-making process and installation. Maybe it will help someone in the future if anyone is crazy enough to do a floor like this. Synopsis Put down heavy coverage of Garagellc’s single-part polyurea by squeegee and back-roll. Squeegeeing out...

Zip Tie Gun Shootout! Stop Cutting Your Fingers!

If you've got 3 or 4, sure. If you have a hundred or so to tighten and cut, it's nice to have a tool.

Zip Tie Gun Shootout! Stop Cutting Your Fingers!

Don't have any experience with those shown, but picked this up used a few years ago for $40 or $50. Have cut at least a thousand zip ties with it and it just works. If you really need one, I highly recommend it-Panduit GS2B.

Help with lingering odor - polyaspartic floor

You'll probably get better info working with the manufacturer and your installer, no one here will be able to help much beyond speculating what it might be. It could have been a mixing/application problem or environmental issue. The polyurea topcoat is moisture sensitive and if it was too...

Garage floor coatings - Too Many Options

Information overload!!!!! I would eliminate the water-based stuff from consideration. If you're going to the trouble to do epoxy, you want to do a high-solids epoxy. -If you do epoxy, you want to use a primer, make sure you plan for one with a kit if it's not included. You also want a...

armorpoxy 100% solids with SPGX polyurea clear???

A few pics of my now 5 year old epoxy in this thread: https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=335168&highlight=tnemec I have some yellowing in spots where I put down the epoxy clearcoat too thick and pretty much browning in spots where I missed with the topcoat. 80% of it still...

armorpoxy 100% solids with SPGX polyurea clear???

You can probably do that, but it won't solve the yellowing problem. The epoxy under the polyurea would still yellow given enough time. That is, unless you do full coverage with chips.
