I'm also wondering why anyone would doubt the safety of expansion or epoxy anchors properly installed in concrete of sufficient thickness and strength. None of this is unique to MaxJax. Full height 2-post lifts are installed using the same methods.

I'm not sure I'd be comfortable with it, but here is an example of the epoxy anchors in a thinner slab - https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/threads/maxjax-installed.303441/#post-5124746

The M7K installation manual has a spec that I followed for my M6K.

They switched to metric (M16) at least 4 years ago. It is a bit ridiculous that even the M7K manual, dated 2022, still says 5/8-11. I'm not sure I'd agree that the epoxy anchors are shady garbage because they are no longer sourced from Wej-It.

    My Maxjax Installation

FYI, the manual for the new MK7 has a slab retrofit spec that I followed for my MK6. https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/threads/maxjax-installs-post-here.35763/page-40#post-10145437

Turns out the 1K HF hydraulic lift table is a great transmission jack for the MaxJax. I modified it to make the handle fold backwards. Would be nice if it went a bit higher, but I lowered the lift to drop a very heavy exhaust then transmission. Next time I pull an engine/trans I'll unbolt...

Thanks! Garage is 18ft wide but has a lot of stuff (cabinets, tools, machinery) on each side.

I think 90 is for the non-epoxy anchors. Page 31 of the M7K manual has instructions for the optional epoxy anchors - https://www.maxjax.com/media/wysiwyg/manuals/MaxJaxM7KInstallManual_-_5900304_-_RevA3_-_June_2022_-_8-5_x_11_-_Web.pdf

I waited 26 days for the concrete to cure before drilling. I used a new a Bosch 7/8" bit and it felt pretty worn out by the time i got to the 10th hole @ 6.5" deep. I went with the max spacing, 135" measured from outer edge of base plates. Each hole went through ~10x cycles of brushing and...

The MaxJax M7K installation manual has a spec for concrete re-work if the slab is too thin. It is nice to see something definitive from the manufacturer: I bought a M6K which seems to be identical to the M7K other than the lower weight capacity, so I followed the spec: I paid someone...

    banjo bolt reducer?

I thought about that, but it doesn't look like it. This is also the pressure side for power steering and I wouldn't want to chance it.

    banjo bolt reducer?

Does such a thing exist or can someone machine one for me? I have a power steering pump threaded for a 16mm banjo bolt and need to connect a hose with a 14mm banjo. I can't seem to find anything out there. I'm not interested in using AN adapters and braided line. Having a custom hose crimped is...
