    Above 1200 Sq/FT South Texas 40'x50'x14' Dream!

That's a helluva nice piece of work so far. Looks like it could stand up to a Texas twister, for sure! What is the model number and make of those strip lights under the mezzanine? I'm just finishing up the mezzanine in my shop and I really like the looks of those!

    Above 1200 Sq/FT Adding on a 40 x 64 x 14 to my old shop

Progress as of March 2022. My son and I have it pretty much all wired up, office in drywall and 2/3 of the overhead deck finished. We've got to run the air lines along both walls, then put on the garage door opener and inside metal covering.

Ground the surface of the concrete to accept aliphatic urethane coating. ***** of a job; spent over twenty hours trying to grind the aggregate exposed, then three coats of the urethane. Came out pretty nice, but I'd rather do...

    Above 1200 Sq/FT Adding on a 40 x 64 x 14 to my old shop

The lights are 150 watt LED, and the HVAC is still in the planning stage. I have the gas line roughed in and a pretty good idea of the size of the air handler. Will be both heated and air conditioned.

    Above 1200 Sq/FT Adding on a 40 x 64 x 14 to my old shop

Thanks. The 32x40 side will be devoted to body work, which will help keep the back shop cleaner. Trying to campaign a race car while doing project work in that small of a space was a constant headache. Bondo dust in my toolboxes is a pet peeve!

    Hello from FNG in Indy

Hi, everyone. I'm new to the Garage Journal. I've been building cars for many years, and have built my own shop on two occasions in the past. I'm currently leasing 1,200 sf that is way too small for everything I need to do to run an asphalt stock car. I need space for fabrication, mechanical...
