    Yes, that does make sense. I guess the most important factor would be my total load at any one given time.     Thanks for the replies so far. I ran 1 1\4" schedule 40 with max wire temp rating of 90 deg Celsius. I definitely am considering going with #6 wire and upping to 50A or 60A, I just figured to play it safe, I should consider only going with a 40A service.
