Last tile project is to tile the step at the back of the garage. Any thoughts on how to lay it out. The step is both wider and deeper than a 24 x 12 tile. Does it look best to keep a full tile at the front of the step, with the joint in the middle, or split the difference? I also assume...

Got the grout and caulking all done this weekend. The color matched caulk was pretty amazing. You really need to get close to the grout lines to pick it out from the regular grout. I used Mapei Ultracolor Plus FA. I mixed in 10 lb increments and did small sections and was able to stay ahead...

I'm only using CIS, but not on the entire floor. Understand the transitions will make things more difficult, even if they're very slight. Do you think it's worth feathering them out with thinset prior to laying tile?
