Solar hot water heater? on a small scale, or the guys that do air ride on cars use it too.

I built one. i made a frame of wood then covered it in slate. the fire bowl is a reused bbq i made a manifold out of black iron pipe. there is a air gap around the heat shield of the manifold. the bowl doesn't heat up the wood at all the bowl sits on thew slate.

the one thing i hate about this build is the stairs. if it was up to me i would have not put the stairs in at all (For security reasons) the stairs land right at curb! if you leave the door open people will walk right up to my bedroom :shocking:

Trust me you want one of these for your keys. you don't want to know why i say this. Also i would suggest removing the red cords from your garage doors as well.

Wired up some new outlets and plumbed my 3/4" air lines in the wall.

My bench is welded 1" angle. 3/4" ply with 1/4" steel cap

today i built another cabinet. this one is for all the laundry stuff.

ok more pic's I finished the overhead cabinets today. just need to finish the walls then is paint time.

Got some more done on the cabinets. milled down some 2x4s for the sliding doors

No i used exterior grade plywood, thanks for all the nice comments. for the other side of the duplex, it is rented out, so we don't really want to enclose the carport.
