A c-clamp around the track right above a roller is a quick way to lock the door too... same idea as a screwdriver but you can get the free play out of the door a bit more.

well i also ran into the $59 price at my store.. manager wouldnt negotiate or budge about the other stores in the area that were sold out at 29. guess that's why they still have 15 in stock. i bought 2 for my dad, but since i already have some cabinets i decided that even at half off it wasn't...

Well, I found another compresor with what looks like the same motor and pump as mine... http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=92504 this one is set up for 220 and draws 23 amps on startup. Looks lik I need to re wire my motor for 220. Can anyone let me know...

Yea, I figured that it was most likely not a 5hp... Not complaining about the breaker either, I know that it is trying to tell me that something is'nt right! I will look into re-wiring the motor for 220. Unfortunately there is not a tag on the motor that specifies the amperage draw... Thanks...

Hey guys, I have a crappy Buffalo air compressor that I got for next to nothing that I am having a problem with. The compressor has a 5 hp motor wired for 110 volt and the compressor keeps popping the 20 amp 12ga circuit that I have it plugged into. I am beginning to think that this motor...

Definetly not my dream garage, but this is a sketchup of my current garage layout... I drew this to get an idea of how it would look with the paint, its all white as it is now... may get around to doing the two tone scheme someday...

hey nice looking garage! I have those same exact lights in my garage, just 2 of them though in my 20x19. I pulled them from a dumpster from an old office renovation downtown, they even had 277 ballasts too and rewired them also.

I dont know what model it is, but i think the color is the plastic film over the drawers, which should be removed, probably revealing silver drawers i bet...

Best garage by what criteria? Most clean? most functional? I would think that the average joe garage or even the ugliest garage would benefit the most from the free pegboard... Just my $0.20

I just used kilz primer to hide any bleed through stains, then regular paint over that. I used a thick roller to apply it all. worked good.

I just bought some Geneva cabinets from the 50's that I found on craigslist. I stripped the paint off the exterior and painted them using rustoleum hammered texture silver. I think they turned out good. Saved a ton over newer metal, but of course the tradeoff is that they are 60 years old...
