    Garage Door will not close

Had a similar issue with my Chamberlin opener, one of two both installed at the same time. Original installer replaced the circuit board, adjusted the doors, etc and said might have to replace the entire opener. Had the owner of another door company recommend swapping the eyes/sensors to...

On a Tight Budget? Consider Corded Tools.

As a matter of fact just last week while swapping out a dead battery in my truck after work I pulled out my corded light to light up the engine bay.

Did a search for this software and came up empty. Might you have a link for it? Looks interesting seeing as it is locally hosted.

Kind of surprise the Kubota units haven't come up in this discussion yet. https://www.kubotaengine.com/the-gl-series/

Is an air chisel a worthwhile purchase?

I used one to get the lock lug nut off daughters Jeep that she lost/never received the key for. So I would say YES very worthwhile purchase. Lots of different uses for this device.

    Walker 770 floor jack

I've got a 770 and a 771. Looking for the same as both need some love. I'm currently chasing a lead on seal kits and post if it pans out.

    Security system, no internet

Setting up a WiFi router inside the building to support NVR and cameras so you can drive up and have a device outside (cell phone/tablet/<insert device>) would be totally doable.

    Security system, no internet

Don't see any option of connecting remotely without an internet connection, unless you maybe use a cell phone line. Ubiquiti is a pretty decent option, you could buy a used NVR and a couple of cameras for probably $350 ish. Easy setup and would record up to about 14 days worth of video. There...

    Perplexing garage door opener problem

Yep, you would have more than likely ended up with the same results flipping the sensors. You have one that is sensitive to the ambient light which was causing your issue. I had multiple shops try and resolve, one which went as far as swapping the control board in the opener. Finally had one...

    Perplexing garage door opener problem

Flip the electric eyes. I would not have believed it if I hadn't just had a similar issue. Two doors side by side, one operated perfectly, other started closing only about 25% of the time the rest was either hold the button or disengage close the door and then operate the opener to closed...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Replaced the front bumper shroud on my daughters 2005 Jeep Liberty, post fender bender from a previous snow storm. Also replaced her wipers and a blown fuse and burnt out plate bulb. She should be good to go for a few more weeks/months for her ride back to school.

    Show off your Jack(s)

Yeah, I had checked there on a whim prior to purchasing these. They are 100% there and operational, but will need seal kits. At least for me having the manual to refer to is helpful, may have to go it rouge. Just checked the lift of the most functional one and it's at least 17", so I figure a...

    Show off your Jack(s)

These followed me home today. I anyone has documentation on these it would be greatly appreciated as at least one will require some love. Both are Walker Roll-A-Car's one 770 and one 771. I may be willing to part with one before I start restoring, but that is a pretty big might. I apologize...

    Pellet Boiler?

Subscribed. Interested in what others have to say on this. Currently use pellet as primary source to heat ~1500 sq foot house. Cost for 3 tons here in NH is about $965 for what I use. That gets me October to March depending on how severe the winter might be.
