Well, this garage has been serving it's intended purpose. My car is on the road - still needs a bunch finished, but it's drive-able now. Unfortunately, my floors and walls are pretty messed up from paint over spray. Looks like a version 2.0 will be in the works at some point to get it looking...

YW! I liked it too - it was the simplest opener I have ever installed. The only issue I had was with the light bulb for it - for some reason the LED bulb I had initially used seemed to interfere with it turning off. I switched it out and it's been fine since.

I worked on getting my airlines run this weekend - went with good old schedule 40 PVC :) Just kidding - did the copper thing. My first time soldering connections, no leaks so far.

looks like the one I got at harbor freight, except maybe the pump is different. For that price, I wouldn't be surprised if it's built in the same factory. Mine seems pretty decent for my application so far, but I just got it and have only just started testing it out.

I said earlier I had no idea what I was talking about - and to research it :) Hopefully mine holds up.

You might want to look into how they pour the slab before doing all that. My contractor said that I did not need to grind or acid wash if they left the slab with a light brush finish and skipped the curing agent - so that's what I did. I have no idea if this is correct, but it might be worth...

Good point here - I forgot to mention that my application was on a new foundation (no oil or other contaminants) and that the contractor left it in a fine brush finish and did not apply any curing agent. Also, I am certain that the solvent based stuff the OP indicated (system 4) is what I used...

I did do that, but it was way too cold outside to be doing it, plus it was getting dark and I had not yet installed any lighting - Some bad decisions were made that night, lol. Another thought I had is to mix a smaller quantity of the stuff so I have more time before it starts to thicken...
